We are all so deeply saddened by the loss of Amy Baker. Amy was truly a shining example of how to live life despite having metastatic breast cancer. She continues to be an inspiration for our work, and further exemplifies the need to be innovative in research to find cures for all breast cancers.  Our thoughts are with the Baker family as we mourn the loss of our dear friend, and will continue to honor her memory as we work towards a cure.

It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to a member of our Park Lab family, David Chu. David passed away in October 2020 from cancer, specifically metastatic sarcoma. David was a kind, giving person who loved everyone and was loved by all. We are devastated by this loss and will continue to work harder in our mission to end all cancers. We miss and love you David.

With COVID19 going on, we are all busy trying to prepare, prevent and stop the spread of this deadly virus. Our lab will be near closing over the next few weeks to help stop the spread. Hope everyone is safe...

In other news, congrats to Patricia Valda for matching in IM at UCSF, and Rob Hughes for matching in IM at Hopkins! We are so happy and proud of you!!

Still in other news, what to do at home when the lab has scaled down? Learn a computer language and put it to best use ala Morgan's latest creation

Hey all! So much going on but so little time do so!
First and foremost, Paula Hurley Ph.D. is now an Associate Professor of Medicine with Tenure!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats!

Second, our lab continues to rebuild and grow. This includes the long standing tradition of Deep Fried Turkey Fest at the Park/Hurley Household for the labs.
Also, congrats to the lab and esp. Brian Dalton and Kelsey Stuttgen for their recent Park Lab pubs.
Lastly,  welcome to Hong Yuen for rejoining the Park/Hurley lab family!! Hong Yuen is now a research assistant professor in Paula's lab!

The Hurley Lab (and family) are now all in Nashville. Though we've dealt with a lot of headaches moving lab and home, things are great. The lab has multiple new members including Brad Davidson, Adam Miranda, Morgan Pantone, Alexandra Manoni and "rotons" Sarah Reed and Riley Bergman. And let's welcome to Nashville former "Park Lab East" members: Swathi Karthikeyan, Dong Ho Shin and newly minted faculty Josh Donaldson! See our members page for more details.
