We are thrilled to announce that Morgan has been accepted into the University of Miami PhD program!! Congrats to Morgan!! (or condolences :)). We will miss Morgan greatly but are so proud of her and happy to visit her in sunny Miami!
We are all so deeply saddened by the loss of Amy Baker. Amy was truly a shining example of how to live life despite having metastatic breast cancer. She continues to be an inspiration for our work, and further exemplifies the need to be innovative in research to find cures for all breast cancers. Our thoughts are with the Baker family as we mourn the loss of our dear friend, and will continue to honor her memory as we work towards a cure.It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to a member of our Park Lab family, David Chu. David passed away in October 2020 from cancer, specifically metastatic sarcoma. David was a kind, giving person who loved everyone and was loved by all. We are devastated by this loss and will continue to work harder in our mission to end all cancers. We miss and love you David.
We are extremely grateful and proud to announce that through a generous donation from Amy and Barry Baker, the Park Lab has been endowed as the Amy Baker Lab for Breast Cancer Research Innovation! It is the hope and intent that this generous gift will further catalyze our ability to find novel therapies and ultimately cure this disease. Thank you to the Baker family!!With COVID19 going on, we are all busy trying to prepare, prevent and stop the spread of this deadly virus. Our lab will be near closing over the next few weeks to help stop the spread. Hope everyone is safe...
Incredibly grateful to Diane and Mike Canney and their patrons for continued support of our work! Thanks!!!!
Hey all! So much going on but so little time do so!
First and foremost, Paula Hurley Ph.D. is now an Associate Professor of Medicine with Tenure!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats! Second, our lab continues to rebuild and grow. This includes the long standing tradition of Deep Fried Turkey Fest at the Park/Hurley Household for the labs. Also, congrats to the lab and esp. Brian Dalton and Kelsey Stuttgen for their recent Park Lab pubs. Lastly, welcome to Hong Yuen for rejoining the Park/Hurley lab family!! Hong Yuen is now a research assistant professor in Paula's lab! |
